Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Andrew Vikuk (“Daymap”, “we”). By using Daymap you agree to them. If you use Daymap for an organisation, you confirm you can accept them on its behalf.
1. The service
Daymap is a planner with a calendar, tasks, boards, habits and an AI assistant, available as apps and online. You can use it as a guest on one device, or create an account to sync, back up and use online features. We keep improving Daymap, which means features may change.
2. Your account
Give accurate information, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You must be at least 16. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your content
What you put into Daymap stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you — for example to sync it, back it up, show it to people you share with, and send the parts the assistant needs to our AI provider. When you delete content or your account, this permission ends (subject to short backup periods described in the Privacy Policy).
4. The assistant
The assistant uses AI to suggest plans and changes. It can be wrong. Changes it drafts are shown to you before they’re applied (unless you choose to apply them automatically), and they can be undone. Don’t rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Your plan includes a monthly allowance of assistant messages and voice notes.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Daymap Free costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from “Manage subscription”; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Prices may change; we’ll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your next renewal.
- Payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. If you’re a consumer in the EU/UK, you may have a 14-day right to withdraw from a new subscription.
- If a payment fails we’ll retry for a while; if it keeps failing your account moves back to Free (your data stays).
6. Fair use
Don’t use Daymap to break the law, harm others, send spam, try to break or overload the service, get around plan limits, or access other people’s data without permission.
7. Third-party services
If you connect Google, Microsoft or other services, their terms also apply to how you use them. We’re not responsible for those services, and connections can stop working if they change.
8. Ending things
You can stop using Daymap and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, after warning you where reasonable. If we ever shut Daymap down, we’ll give at least 60 days’ notice so you can export your data.
9. Warranty and liability
We work hard to keep Daymap reliable, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Daymap afterwards, the new terms apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws where you live, and can bring claims there.
